A test devised while praising the truth Some of the Pharisees and the Herodians came to Jesus. They said, “You are true, and care about no one; for You do not regard the person of men, but teach the way of God in truth” (Mark 12:14). However, these words were not the confession of people who wanted to receive His teaching. This was because they were people who had been sent to catch Jesus in His words. Even words that exalt the truth with the mouth can become a tool of deception according to the purpose in the heart.
