Also, we must not use the Lord’s warning only for finding the faults of others. We ourselves are also easily moved in heart when we see or hear something new. When we experience something amazing, we may consider that the Lord is pleased, and when nothing happens, we may consider that the Lord has left. But since salvation is not something that is completed as our experiences increase, we must obtain assurance from believing in the work the Lord has accomplished. This is also why we need the service of the church, where we learn that word together.
