Show Notes

To the disciples coming down from the mountain, Jesus gave the command that “they should tell no one the things they had seen, till the Son of Man had risen from the dead” (Mark 9:9). The disciples had seen amazing glory, but they asked one another what it meant to rise from the dead. To know Jesus rightly, we must not remember only His radiant appearance, but must know why He would die and how He would rise again. Admiration that leaves out the content of salvation cannot deliver a person from sin.
